The dates for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifiers have been announced, after 10 teams were confirmed to attend the event to be held in Zimbabwe from June 18 to July 9, 2023.
Each match will be high-stakes, with the teams competing for two places in the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in India, giving them a guaranteed nine matches in the ODI World Cup.
The ten teams participating in the qualifiers are divided into two groups, each group containing 5 teams. Hosts Zimbabwe, West Indies, Netherlands, Nepal and the United States make up the first group, while Sri Lanka, Ireland, Scotland, Oman and the United Arab Emirates make up the second group.
Each team will play the other teams in their group once with the top three teams from each group qualifying for the Super Six round. In the Super Six, they will play teams they have not yet met in the group stage.
